The Role
Amazing people and firm, learnt an incredible amount over the internship.
Even though people are extremely busy they still make time for you and value you.
There is a very good system in place of people you can talk to for advice and guidance.
You're given tasks by your team but you also have to be proactive, if you want to get the most out of your time and ask a few people for work you are going to be very busy but it's worth it.
Obviously the firm could not have us directly involved in dealing with clients or executing trades as this requires much more training and experience. However, we were given important tasks for the team and were given as much responsibility as we could have been.
Being exposed to an environment where you have incredible people and new challenges on a daily basis you inevitably grow and develop a lot of skills which are going to be useful to you for the rest of your life.
The Company
As there are so many teams and different things that each of them do, the atmosphere is going to vary, but as a whole it's very positive. It's a very intense environment and one in which the people are the best in their field, yet very social and helpful.
Brilliantly set up, very organised, great events throughout. It's a difficult schedule to keep on top of but what you get out of it is fantastic.
Incredible, first week is training and you work with a top tutor to learn the important fundamentals. Investment in the interns is immense, taking into consideration the training, desk space/Bloomberg and most of all the time of the people there, Morgan Stanley is one of, if not the best, in terms of this.

If you get an offer at the firm, the job prospects are fantastic.
The Culture
Other interns where great, all were very social and hard working. Very diverse class with many different experiences.
Social aspect at the firm and area is great, but obviously being an intern in Canary Wharf is very expensive.
London nightlife is fantastic, you don't have much time to be taking advantage of it but if you wanted to there are plenty of opportunities.
Lots of opportunities for volunteering and doing other activities, dependant on you on to take advantage of them.
