    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed it a lot and was given a lot of opportunities to learn and further develop myself - a very well organised and structured internship programme, in my view.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt very valued - everyone is there to support you and help in your development. They do not expect you to know everything and are open to teaching you the ropes of what the different roles entail really well. They essentially treat you like you are already a permanent member of the team - and not just an intern.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • They were always there whenever I needed help to help support me in my development and ensuring I was not struggling.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Everyday is kind of different - but we were given enough work to keep us on our toes and constantly challenged to support in our learning.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Quite a bit - you have to be open and volunteer to constantly help your colleagues, which will ensure that trust is built and thus they would provide you with more responsibility.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I think everything that I learnt during my time here will in some way in the future definitely help make my life easier - you get to develop a lot of transferrable skills such as VBA, which could help you in future quite a bit.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It is a very well structured and organised internship, in my view
