  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Friendly atmosphere with exposure to graduate work early on. Supportive peers and seniors who are helpful and make you feel like a part of the company.

  • Colleagues were appreciative of work I completed and helped me develop my skills.

  • Supervisor made me aware of how the grad scheme offer process works as well as providing general career advice.

  • Primarily focused on client work but was also given opportunity to explore side of desk work as well as social and networking opportunities.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Was given freedom over managing your own work. However, the extent to which you get responisiblity is understandably limited due to lack of training.

  • Improved soft skills and presentation skills as well as proficiency in Excel and understanding of industry.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Friendly atmosphere with driven and knowledgable peers. Everyone is always understanding of knowledge gaps and do their best to try support you where possible.

  • Internship allowed for exposure to a variety of work outside of client work which included internal projects, corporate service and even organising fundraising events.

  • Extent to which you receive training is limited but you learn a lot while working.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Friendly interns and occasional socials with engagement team- events outside of these also available to seek out and join at own discretion

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Good balance between work load and social climate. Travel and food expensive due to location( London CW).

  • Did not actively partake in the nightlife but busy area with loads of people out at night.

  • limited opportunities outside of work. While there are things going on, need to actively look out for them to get involved.
