    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I’m very thankful that EY has given me the opportunity to complete this internship programme in the Technology Risk Advisory division. I was very fortunate to be able to work almost all of the areas within Technology Risk during the 6 weeks and get a feel of what the work environment is like. Also have great work life balance which lots of socials and drinks!

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The moment I’m in the office, I felt I’m being treated as an employee, not as an intern. My team took me to client sites, and got me to work with actual projects, making real life changes. I was also able to work shadow partners and directors, having in depth conversations with them really helped to get to know the business and the team well!

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • With all the teams I worked with, the people are extremely patient with me despite I ask them questions on the tasks I’m given almost every 10 minutes! I was given an extremely difficult tasks for me, but I was happy to be able to leverage the talents and the skills of the team, despite their busy schedules!

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
