  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very interesting and fruitful experience. It was very dynamic and varied form day to day.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The team I was allocate to for the period of my internship, was very welcoming and communicated with me as if I was there for a long time. I was always integrated in the team discussions and my opinion was valued.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Everyone is very friendly and is willing to help anytime. I was encouraged to ask questions in order to learn and speak out whenever I struggled to understand something. My team made me feel welcomed and was very responsive all the time.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Normal working day is 09:00-17:30 and it was really up to the intern to use this time effectively. In most teams, there was always something to do, and in order to learn more about the industry and dynamics of the company, I would offer to helm people around me with their tasks.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • During the period of 6 weeks, I was assigned to many different tasks that contributed to the final outcome of the team performance. Working towards the final deadline of the project, I was responsible to deliver any task at the appropriate standard.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • I was allocated to the team that was working towards the upcoming deadline and everyone was being productive. However, the atmosphere was very enjoyable as everyone felt free to chat to each other and grab a quick coffee during the breaks.

  • The interns were trained for the first 3 days in a very organised training and during the rest of the time, were supplied with all required equipment to get a feel of the real working experience.
