    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed the work I completed. There was a lot of responsibility & I was challenged every day, but there was also a good support network.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The recognition culture at Intel is really good. You are doing work of real value, so it's natural that if you do a good job, you get recognition for that.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Support network at Intel is really good. If you ask for help you will get it, but you're also left alone when you need to own something.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • In my role I was busy most days due to the nature of it, but there were opportunities to increase workload efficiency so I was able to reduce my normal workload after a while. I could then use this extra bandwidth to pick up other responsibilities.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • At Intel you are treated as a full time employee when it comes to responsibility, but there's still a support network when you need it.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
