  • I learned a lot and was given a lot of responsibility right from the start.

  • They were amazing and took the time to get to know me as a person.

  • They did their best to give me support even though they were swamped with the work they were doing.

  • There was always more work to do than could be done in a given day, but that just made things challenging - and made weekends more enjoyable.

  • I was given interesting work that had a direct impact on the work of the organisation.

  • It was a very good introduction to government relations in the charity sector.

  • Very friendly and supportive.

  • There were a few hiccups, but overall very smooth.

  • An introduction to the organisation was given at the start and a workshop on CV and interview techniques was provided as well.

  • A lot of us went out together on a regular basis.

  • It's London zone 1 - i.e. expensive
