The Role
I learned a lot and was given a lot of responsibility right from the start.
They were amazing and took the time to get to know me as a person.
They did their best to give me support even though they were swamped with the work they were doing.
There was always more work to do than could be done in a given day, but that just made things challenging - and made weekends more enjoyable.
I was given interesting work that had a direct impact on the work of the organisation.
It was a very good introduction to government relations in the charity sector.
The Company
Very friendly and supportive.
There were a few hiccups, but overall very smooth.
An introduction to the organisation was given at the start and a workshop on CV and interview techniques was provided as well.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working for them now...
The Culture
A lot of us went out together on a regular basis.
It's London zone 1 - i.e. expensive
Lots of good pubs around
You could volunteer with Cancer Research UK everyday if you liked...
