  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I have received plenty of support from the start. My manager was very nice and patient and they taught me many things that would become essential in my future experience. Overall, I would say that my supervisor was very understanding of me and knew what he was doing. I never felt scared to do mistakes because usually the matters would be solved very professionally by my manager and they gave me plenty of help.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Throughout the working day I was quite busy as there was plenty of stuff to do which also helped me to learn crucial skills that will be helpful in my future career. However, it was not too hard, I had just enough tasks to learn and gain experience. It was a lot of fun.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I had a perfect balance of responsibilities that my manager trusted me. Never too much to feel stressed out. And just enough to keep myself busy and make sure that I learn things from a managing point of view.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I believe that the skills that I've learnt here will definitely help me in the future especially in the near future as after the sandwich placement year I will be going back to university. I would say that the amount of valuable skills that I've learnt at Pure Biofuel so far is helping me already in my daily life and I do believe that these skills will help me even beyond when I will start building up my career after I finish my university studies.
