    • I thoroughly enjoyed the placement at Citi.

    • My colleagues always thank my for any contribution to projects and make sure to give me feedback regarding aspects I have done well in and areas where I could improve in the future.

    • Management and other colleagues took time to provide additional training on the desk in order to strengthen my understanding of the role.

    • I was given individual tasks that would contribute to various projects.

    • I have learned technical skills that will allow me to apply the theories I have learned at university, in order the broaden my understanding of accounting and finance.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • The atmosphere is generally very friendly. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • Very good. The first week of training was very useful. The firm arranged an event prior to the internship to allow interns to meet the different teams within the Investment Banking division. HR also arrange various networking and speaker events.

    • Based on my experience during my internship, a full-time role at Citi would be very appealing.
