  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Within recruitment everyday is different. As a resourcer, you have a number of tasks to do (eg admin, supporting the team resourcing, compliance) so everyday is extremely busy however throughout my time I have built on my organisation skills and this has helped me to ensure that I get everything done effectively and in a timely manner.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Throughout my time at placement, I was given more responsibility. At the beginning it was more about learning about my initial role and the team and slowly as I became more confident I was given more responsibility. I was in charge of recruiting a big contract within the business this involved a lot of responsibility from my behalf to ensure everything goes effectively.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills that I have learnt throughout my time at REED will definitely be beneficial for my final year of university. I have gained and adapted many skills which will be transferable on my return. Some examples include time management skills, communication and organisational skills. All these skills will come in handy in assisting with my final year of university and beyond.
