    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very much enjoyed working at ProspectSoft, great environment and people. There are lots of other placement students so you won't be short of friends, and they have lots of socials and activities outside of work. It was a nice place to work, would highly recommend to anyone. Overall a great year.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • They give you lots of trust and responsibility, managers will often talk to you and you get to know everyone in the company. Everyone is nice to each eachother so you feel valued by others, there is also a great vibe in the office which keeps you motivated throughout the week.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Great managers in the business, they often check up to see how you are doing. If you have any questions you feel free to speak your mind, everyone has their own manager to check in with which is great. Managers are very experienced, and lots have been in the business a long time.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Lots of work to be done, small company so lots of work! However like any business there is some less busy days. In the case of this, you have time to check your emails or help other departments, you have the opportunity to carry out more work if you want too.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Lots of responsibility, they give placement year students the same responsibility as any other employee which is great. Therefore you will be dealing with customers directly, be able to make you own decision etc. This is great, however sometimes its overwhelming but it does make you learn quick. Overall great.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Lots, great skills for the future. I will be able to use these after finishing university. They teach you lots of core skills so can be applied to many businesses and industries. They are very friendly and want to keep in contact with you after you finish, thanks prospectsoft for everything.
