    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • For what I have experienced from the past weeks, I can say that despite the long hours, I'm happy that I had the opportunity to work here this summer and that I chose the Energy team in particular. Sometimes it can be difficult, but I presume I'll learn much from this experience.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My team is really nice. They tried to make me feel comfortable from day one. Also if we don't know almost anything of the job, they try to explain us everything and they give to the job we do a great value (that I believe is really important to make us feel confident in what we do and improve)

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The first week I was not that busy at all. Then the work started arriving. But I believe it is normal, her things are continuously moving and when you join you have to enter and adapt into this flow, so time is needed. Probably I'll arrive at the end of the internship that I just got into it

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • 3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • For now I don't have much responsibility, but I suppose it is because we just started. I expect to have more responsibilities in the future weeks. I think at the end of this internship we will be able to manage the work and the deadlines alone, without any guidance from our senior colleagues

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Probably not that much because studying is very different from working. At university we focus a lot on the theoretical part of all the subjects, while when you start working everything it's practical and you find in what you do only the general concepts learnt on the books. Maybe in some way at the end they will help.
