  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone was willing to help and answer any questions that I may have had! They were also really interested in how things were going and just getting to know me!

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • All doors were open with any queries or problems I may have been having with regard to the placement in general or with the work that I was assigned!

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Everyday was different, with some days being really busy and having to finish work slightly later than planned or days when there wasn't much to do! In all I never felt like I was sitting around having nothing to do which is good as you are there to learn and experience!

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As an intern I felt like I was given quite a lot of responsibility with regard to some of the tasks that I was set! This is really encouraging as it shows that they can trust you, but also really nerving as you don't won't to mess it up!

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • In terms of assisting me in my studies, I really don't believe it will assist me at all, however, it will definately assist me with my future career as I will be able to start with some knowledge of how things are done instead of starting from scratch!

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was a very relaxed environment with people laughing and joking and pranks being made between colleagues! There were also occassions when everyone went out to have lunch at a restaurant which was a nice change!

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was a very well organised programme, where as part of the internship we had to complete a seperate project in groups, who were also doing the internship programme but from other offices, and present it to some of the partners in a dragons den style format! Also, before we started we were made aware of the clients we would be working on and who we would be working with so that we were prepared before we started! We also had a weeks residential training in a hotel so that we knew the basics before we started!

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • We had a weeks residential training before we started so that we knew the basics before we started! We were put up in a hotel with all expenses and food paid for, with a great chance to meet knew people who were also on the internship programme! We were also assigned a buddy and mentor who would check on our progress and make sure everything was going well and that any issues were resolved throughout the programme!
