  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I really enjoyed my role, the team I worked with was amazing always giving different experiences and so much expose to different areas in the business which really set me up to get a grad job.

    • My team really valued me, understood my strengths and relied on me. They also understood my weaknesses and build on these.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • My manager was amazing, always helping and although she was really busy always had time for a coffee if I needed a chat. She gave me opportunities that I never thought I’d get including working with the CEO &CFO

    • It was a good amount of busy, some times of the month was quieter than others.

    • I was given as much responsibility as I wanted really, if I felt comfortable doing it I could.

    • VWFS really embrace trying to build on your skills through workshops and in my team we did team building and other activities.

    • Nice out team really got on

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • At the start it was really unorganised in my team, but as soon as I switched teams to a manger that had been there for ages she knew exactly what to do

    • VWFS really invest in training all their colleagues not just placement students

    • I got a grad scheme at their sister coming VW group. VWFS grad scheme has only been running for one year

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • I made really good mates and we had a good social as a team and undergrads

    • I thought it was reasonable

    • Nightlife in MK is dull but close to London

    • I didn’t do any but the boys played football
