  • Work load can be daunting, especially when the branch is short staffed. Long hours are to be expected.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My confidence has developed. When I first started working, I was shy and timid. This has drastically changed. I have also learnt additional skills such as understanding financial statements which I had not learnt in my degree.

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Every member of staff starts off as a "management trainee". If you want to progress into other departments you have to be promoted in group rental before moving into different departments.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Socials included one evening out during the year. As I didn't know many people I didn't attend. Other conversations are by email or phone.
