  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Throughout my placement I was provided the right amount of work. Furthermore, due to the culture and environment GSK creates, I never hesitated to discuss my workload and capacity with my colleagues. At times when I had the capacity to take on more work, I always asked and was given more to do. Conversely, I felt comfortable sharing the times when I was at maximum capacity too.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I have learned and developed whilst on my placement have set me up for life. The type of skills I learned whilst at GSK, were ones which you cannot learn in a classroom, but instead are on the job type learning. Deciding to do an industrial placement with GSK was one of the best decisions I ever made.
