  2. I really enjoyed my placement role at IBM, as well as undertaking opportunities such as giveback, online learning and shadowing

  4. My colleagues made me feel very welcome form day one and were always there to support me, even outside work

  6. My task manager was always very supportive, giving useful advice and helping out whenever I struggled.

  7. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  8. It was varied, my role is very project based and therefore, some days I would be very busy without having time to take a break. On the other days, it was more relaxed which was very useful to an extent that I could dedicate that time to work on university essays and grad application

  10. I was given a lot of responsibility straight after the handover

  11. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  12. Although my role was not linked to my degree, the skills I developed and experience gained will help with my work style at university and when I graduate

  14. My office consists of only 10 people and depending on the time of the year, it was either full and lively or empty and quite

  15. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  16. I think it was very organised. I first had an induction followed by handover and real work. I was assigned an Early Professional Manager who I had regular contact with and a Task Manager

  17. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  18. Multiple opportunities available such as online learning, giveback and shadowing. My task manager was very supportive of that and let me undertake personal development courses during office hours

  22. Very appealing, especially the CBD scheme which I am applying to

  24. Great social scene, especially with the Hub being the place where everyone would play games at

  25. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  26. In Winchester it was pretty expensive

  28. Absolutely no Nightlife in Hursley/Winchester. Had to go to Southampton for that

  30. Plenty of opportunities advertised daily via emails or on company channels
