Spring into Deloitte Review

The insight was extremely informative and enjoyable. It was a great opportunity to interact with employees of different ages and experiences in Deloitte as well as gain an understanding of what it feels like to work in Deloitte and what is expected of us in a professional environment. I would highly recommend it for students who aren't sure about their career path and would like to know more about the industry.

We were extremely well catered for during the program with excellent food and refreshments being provided both days as well as lodgings in a nearby hotel. The reception and all of the employees treated us very favorably and we had an excellent 3 course dinner served to us in the hotel.

There was an abundance of chances to speak to and learn from different employees in the firm. Whether it be them coaching us and explaining their respective roles in the various games held or simply just networking over lunch and dinner, we were provided ample opportunities to have our questions answered.

I was able to gain a new perspective regarding what options to consider after graduation. After speaking to some of the fresh graduates who were recently employed into Deloitte, I realized that despite not having a degree centered around finance, I would still have plenty of opportunities available for me in Deloitte.

The insight was well structured, having a good mix of both lectures regarding some of the different departments in the firm as well plenty of business games in order to showcase the type of work some of the departments offer. There was also networking opportunities with some of the senior members of the firm which were very informative.

The environment was probably my favorite part of the entire insight. It was extremely enjoyable with constant laughter while at the same time being professional enough to covey the required information and more. We were constantly encouraged to ask questions and both the staff and the attendees seemed to be truly enjoying themselves.

Due to the insight only lasting 2 days there was not much that Deloitte could do in terms of personal training. We were advised and coached in our games by the employees and we participated in a very stimulating lecture regarding the importance of body posture and how it can be used in sales pitches.

The insight did an excellent job in conveying what a full time role with the company would look like. This mainly came from speaking with the employees and hearing first hand explanations from them regarding their roles in the firm and how they accomplish their goals and objectives within the team.

The insight portrayed what it would feel like being an employee of Deloitte. The company culture was constructive and very encouraging. The employees seemed to be genuinely enjoying themselves, and the senior members were always providing whatever assistance and guidance was required. Overall I'd say the company culture looked like one which was extremely enjoyable to be a part of.

The content was very useful in describing what each department had and its various pros and cons. The games were a great interactive way of highlighting the different skill sets that would be required for the job as well as showcasing how working in a team would feel like in Deloitte.

There were plenty of opportunities to network with both senior and junior employees of Deloitte. They were all very accommodating in answering our doubts and questions regarding their respective departments. Lunches were held on both days to speak with the different employees as well as a dinner in the hotel on the first day.

There was a session towards the end of the insight in which we were informed about how Deloitte supports its employees both outside and inside the work place. Religious Societies, Company Sports Clubs as well as a large amount of benefits provided to the employees were just some of the initiatives that we learned about.

I would highly recommend this insight to anyone interested in gaining experience of what it feels like working in Deloitte.
