    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • This event was amazing! I learnt a lot about different lines of services such as Tax, PAS, TAS, Assurance and Forensics. We also had a chance to learn about EY Women Network and EY Foundation. EY gave us a lot of opportunities to network with both like-minded peers and their employees. Overall, the event was very well organised.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt like we were treated as actual EY employees. The event was hosted at the Hilton Hotel which is a great location (just 1 minute walk from EY which we also had a chance to visit). We were provided with breakfast and an amazing buffet lunch on both days of the event. We also had an amazing social event at the Flight Club which was a great opportunity to network with peers in the less formal environment.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • We were provided with clear instructions prior the event regarding the travelling and accommodation. During the event, we had a lot of support from EY employees. We had one employee per each table (about 8 people) who we’re our hosts. They guided us through tasks and answered all our questions. During the lunch, employees sit with us and had lunch with us. They initiated a conversation and also answered all our questions.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The event was very useful! We got a real insight into each of line of services and what opportunities are open to us. EY employees told us about their day-to-day tasks, their clients and projects they worked on. It was very interesting and now I have more understanding about what line suits me best. I think it will help me to make a right choice in my career.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • These two days were packed with various events. Event was very well organised. After every one or two talks we had an opportunity to go and have some refreshments and network. However, I would add more “hands on” activities. We had two activities: preparing the presentation and exploring day-to-day projects of each line of service.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • It was great to meet so many like-minded, curious and intelligent. As well as, strong, brave and successful women who work at EY. Everyone was very friendly and really passionate about what they are doing. All talks were very motivational and now I fell that I’m full of energy and really believe in myself.
