Spring intern Review

I thought it gave a brilliant insight into the company, the culture and the roles in DB. Similarly, I enjoyed how we were able to workshadow different parts of the bank to really get a feel for the place. I also enjoyed the networking opportunities

I felt extremely valued and this was reiterated with each speaker and activity we did It was a great feeling

I felt like it was really valuable to see how the skills I have from Uni are applied in the workplace Similarly, the communication and networking skills I used were really great Finally, I enjoyed how I learned new technical skills and gained a better understanding of the workplace and DB

I can not fault the insight week at all It was extremely well structured to give a really deep understanding and a great experience of DB and the roles within the company The networking events were fantastic and at all times I was busy (in a good way) and entertained and learning

Everyone was so kind and supportive in the bank The other interns were always happy and I felt like we were in a really positive and encouraging atmosphere at all times I felt like everyone wanted us there and wanted us to learn as much as we could and therefore the atmosphere was brilliant

I feel like the company has invested a lot of their time and resources into providing me with the best work experience they could I also feel like I have developed both professionally and personally as a result of this week

They helped me understand to a great extent how the bank worked The work shadowing showed me how each role worked and what the day to day activities would be Also, the panels discussed what their roles included which provided me with a deeper insight into how the bank worked and how I could be working too

Both the panels, speaking to the graduates, work shadowing and the networking events allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the company culture and its values

I felt I learned a lot of what I valued as a person in correlation to the banks values the work shadowing allowed me to see which career I would like to follow and which I wouldn’t Taking to people at networkint events allowed me to question and gain answers about roles and careers in the bank

Yes plenty of events to network and I really enjoyed them

The drinks and food allowed for a more relaxed atmosphere and everyone was very friendly it was very comfortable

Yes the well being panel dealt with this very well and the Q&A at the end allowed me to ask other questions I had on this topic

I can not recommend the insight enough It was invaluable to my learning and a fantastic experience I learned and gained new skills and developed the ones I had already It was absolutely brilliant
