  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • It was a great insight into what a legal career at Herbert Smith would entail. There were many opportunities to learn about the various practice areas and the work that they do. I was also able to help with a trainee research task and gain hands-on experience. Speaking with solicitors also allowed me to learn directly from them about the work that they do.

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The workshops were a great insight into the culture of Herbert Smith Freehills. Many law firms say similar things on their website, so the best way to really distinguish a firm is by visiting it. The workshops allowed me to assess the culture of the firm myself and determine if it was a suitable environment for me.
