  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Working with IBM is a great experiance. It will take you on a journey of self development. So much potential talent and great minds make it a wonderful business to work for.

  • They expect great things from everyone at IBM, so you really have a chance to shine

  • Reviews every 3 months, with constant feedback and updates with managers and EPM's that will guide you down the right path.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • You will always have work to do, if you don't feel busy enough there is always the possibility for self development and training to help your team further.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As stated above,high expectations. Plenty of opportunities to do great things at IBM. Take ever chance and deliver on projects, the more trust and respect you will be given by team.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills and modern techniques put me leaps and bounds above my other team mates. 3 Students went to IBM on placement in my year, each coming out confident and more techincally adept. With the ability to share knowledge with their class mates.

  • Was part of a small team, but they find the right place for you.

  • Lots of tools and techniques are used, different teams may use differemt technologies. Trello help clear that backlog.

  • Access to lots of online resources, some placement students had to opportunity to go on training courses.

  • Depends on area,I didn't need to move
