About You
I significantly enjoyed the insight event at PwC, I enjoyed learning about the firm and meeting the people that work there and learning about what It would be like to be a trainee there.
I felt that the company were really interested in learning about me, what I have done and my career ambitions. It felt that they did genuinely want to help me which also made me feel valued.
There was guidance regarding the assessment stages of the day and they always kept us informed about what was going on which was nice and made me feel more comfortable.
The skills from the day may not have necessarily assist my degree but it definitely will help me with future assessment centres and interviews as well as entering into the world of work.
The Company
The insight day was very well structures, they ensured there was lot of breaks between the tests which I believed allowed us to perform our best in the conditions.
There was a very positive general atmosphere during the day and that made a massive difference to my opinion of the firm when leaving.
The team informed us of what the day of day life of a trainee would be like and discussed key skills like stress and time management.
The insight day gave us the opportunity to speak to lots of different people within the firm and after having all of these conservations I feel I am in a good position in knowing what working at the firm would be like.
From speaking to everyone, the firms culture really came across and it was very warm and friendly.
The day was very helpful in me planning my career future as it showed the a future career at PwC would be something that I think I would enjoy greatly.
Everything Else
Yes there was lots of opportunities to network with people, form a range of perspectives; gradate recruitment, trainees, associates and partners.
As previously mentioned many different people were brought to us to network with and there was lots of opportunities to ask questions.
To some extent through talking to people, especially trainees at the firm.
Yes I would definitely recommend this to a friend who also wants to go into the legal profession.
