  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The range of skills I developed will certainly assist in my final year of studies and in the future. The breadth of the work that I was able to get involved with increased my understanding of accounting and finance, and of what real estate investment funds encompass; and this has helped me plan further for my future career. In addition, my MS Excel skills improved significantly and my overall experience of working in an office environment will help going forward. Self management, problem solving and communication skills are just some of the invaluable soft skills gained whilst I was on the placement.
