About You
I greatly enjoyed the placement and felt it gave me a good idea of what working at PwC would be like.
The supervisors all gave me ample time for feedback and answers to any and all questions regarding the firm.
My trainee buddy and colleagues in each seat gave me a lot of support during the three assessment exercises during the placement.
I know what is expected of me now as a trainee at the firm.
The Company
The vacation scheme was very organised and at no point was I unaware of what was expected of me.
The culture at PwC greatly improved my opinion of the firm. The open plan office space also made me feel excited to come into work everyday.
In terms of personal training I don’t believe the firm offered much. Instead it provided an insight into life at the firm rather than personal training and development.
It provided a very clear picture of what life would be like as a full time employee.
The culture at PwC was one of my favourite aspects of the firm as it was collegiate and friendly.
The placement in three seats offered a broad view of work done at the firm but not a full picture. Thus, I would need more exposure to decide on a future seat placement.
Everything Else
PwC offers the best pay from what I have experienced for the work done on the placement.
There were plenty of opportunities to meet trainees, associates and partners during the vacation scheme.
I enjoyed some networking events more than others. For instance, bowling with trainees allowed us to get to know our future colleagues on a social level which was very appreciated.
There was little discussion of activities to get involved in outside of work.
If someone is interested in working at PwC as a lawyer, this is a great opportunity to gain insight into the firm and their working culture.
