About You
The experience was a huge learning experience. Everyone in the legal dept gave you lots of one on one time and the tasks set felt valued by the rest of the team. Good feedback was provided throughout. The atmosphere was very friendly
The tasks I completed were worthwhile and some even sent out to the rest of the team, I felt genuinely valued
Lots of feedback was provided and the trainees always there to help you out
Lots of the soft skills I developed (team work, presentation skills, professional conduct etc) will be very useful in the future. Perhaps less useful in terms of my degree but only because we don't study certain areas covered in the work of certain departments I spent time in.
The Company
Very well structured. Each week was assessed and you sat with a different team. I never felt lost or uncertain about the goal or where I was working next.
Very friendly and supportive, a great environment to work in
Lots of time and support invested by the associates and trainees supervising.
A great insight, I feel like I understand the ethos and environment completely. It gave a good insight into the types of projects at pwc.
Loved it!
Everything Else
Yes lots of socials and partner drinks
Not so much, a little about certain pro bono work but only because it was part of our presentation project
