  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I really enjoyed having the opportunity to gain an insight into the performance driven and dynamic work environment valued and provided by PwC. Moreover, the emphasis placed on helping clients achieve their own ambitions was rewarding, whilst the friendliness of all employees I had the privilege to meet was refreshing and greatly appreciated.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • All employees were extremely friendly and accommodating. Staff took the time to introduce me to many other members of the team and I was fully immersed within projects they were working on.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The lady I was shadowing was extremely supportive throughout my time and offered support at many points when I was struggling to keep up with the subject matter being discussed.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Allowed me to improve upon skills, such as time management and organisation. Furthermore, it allowed me to gain a valuable insight into the work environment dynamics, which has helped shaped my own understanding as to what I want to do following my studies.

  • My insight started with an induction which was extremely helpful. Following this, I shadowed a partner and thus my insight was structured around her schedule.

  • Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating and never hesitated to take the time to explain situations and tasks to me.

  • The insight didn't train or develop me in a sense of technical skill. However, it was extremely useful in gaining an understanding of the work environment.

  • I had the opportunity to talk with many staff members who gave valuable insight into their role within the company and the general objectives of the firm as a whole.

  • There were no specific events which were set up for networking. However, I got introduced to everyone almost every room I walked into a room.
