The Role
The work that I got given during my placement was necessary and adding value to the service for the client and therefore you feel like a valued team member
All colleagues were kind and friendly and would appreciated your help and would help with any questions you had regarding your work
Everyone would explain the task at hand and if you have never completed the last before or was unaware they would go into more detail over what was required from the task
The work load was generally heavy however it did also make the day go a lot quicker as it meant that you were never bored during the day
There is a high level of responsibility given to people of all grades and thus you feel like a valued member of a team from the go
The work that I completed has helped me to be able to time manage my work during my studies a lot better in the current year
The Company
Everyone was friendly and approachable within the office and so the atmosphere was warming
As you go into the graduate scheme whilst on placement the structure was very well organised
The company invests highly in you as your first month was a heavy amount of training to teach you the required skill for the job and also support you through professional examinations
Working from home
Healthcare/Dental
There is a significantly high chance of being given a job once the placement has been completed
The Culture
The company did monthly socials and as a result there was a chance to get to know people within the company
I worked in Cardiff and as a result the cost of living and socialising was extremely good
The area is extremely lively and there are a large number of clubs and bars to socialise in
The area is very dense with many opportunities within the local area to join whatever team you desire
