The Role
I enjoyed my placement thoroughly, as it was a great place to gain experience and understand daily roles and responsibilities.
The staff at work really made feel welcome and treated me as one of their own.
Support was given, whenever I required it. I also had Professional development reviews were we would sit down with management to talk about how I am doing and whether I needed anything form the team.
I was always busy
I was given quite a lot of responsibility due to the lack of resources we had available. I personally think I relished, and it has given me a great deal of exposure for what I should expect after university.
It has helped a great deal, as now, I believe I can now apply practical to the theory we have been taught.
The Company
It was always a positive atmosphere, where everyone was trying to help one another to achieve our common goal.
As soon as I arrived, I was immediately picked up and taken to the site.
They invested a great deal, I was lucky enough to undergo many training sessions, which not only helped me perform my daily roles/responsibilities but helped me to further my learning.
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Id like to think that i had a great year and my company would like me to return
The Culture
Yess, i was fortunate to have extroverted colleagues, who like to organise after work activities.
Due to me working at the airport, things were always expensive, and far from my house.
Not sure.
The business unit within the company did tend to organise activities for us to all attend
