I really enjoyed the three day insight at Danone HQ. We learnt a lot about the company, culture, job roles, spoke to current placement and grad employers and really felt apart of the business, even in such a short period of time. I felt apart of the team from our first insight talk and beyond!
I felt really valued throughout my time at Danone, they paid for all of our expenses throughout the three day insight. Furthermore they were genuinely interested in our ideas in regards to forthcoming social media and events planning for the upcoming year at each of our universities. They also gave us insight into our work personalities, strengths and weaknesses which is invaluable insight!
We were explained in detail what was expected of us as Campaign Brand Managers. We had multiple talks from the leader and past CBMs which inspired our ideas for our events planning. We will also be having regular calls when we are on campus to see how we are getting on.
As I study marketing the CBM role will develop my skills in my chosen degree subject, as events planning, working with different stakeholders and social media are all aspects of a marketing degree. Furthermore I will be able to speak about this in future interviews when applying for other marketing roles.
The insight was well structured. It was quite an intense 3 days in terms of information, however it was definitely enjoyable. We had different tasks to complete and met different employees each day, meaning I never got bored and was always eager to find out what we were doing next!
The atmosphere was great, there were 16 CBMs on the three insight days and non of us had met before however we all go on really well! Not at any point did I feel nervous or unsure about what was expected of me, and I think this was due to the environment in which we were immersed in.
The company definitely invested in us as CBMs. We had a two hour session the learn about how we work in a workplace environment, our strengths and weaknesses which is invaluable insight and transferable in every aspect of life. Not many other companies would spend this time completing a similar activity.
I definitely had a greater understanding about what it would be like to work for danone as a result of this insight. Furthermore it was nice to speak to current employers about their at the office as they have obviously been their longer than us so have aloth more insight.
The insight definitely helped me to understand the company culture a lot more. Being immersed in Danone offices allowed me to see first hand how the company works and how employees are treated. This experience was really positive and something that you can't truly learn about when researching the company on the internet.
The content was very valuable, like I said before these three days allowed me to see first hand what it is like to work for a global company like Danone and this is something that you can't truly learn about when researching the company online. It has made me relalise that I would love to work for a company like Danone in the future!
Yes there were lots of opportunities to network!
Really good! Everday we networked with different people. Also most of the CBMs went out for dinner in the evening which was a nice touch to the experience!
Yes when networking with current employees they told us about all of the extra activities that they can get involved in whilst working for Danone.
