The Role
I enjoyed the challenging yet exciting work environment, in which I was able to meet many new people and form several new friendships, from all of which I was able to learn a great deal and absorb the full experience. I also came to realize that the role is suitable to me and something that I could turn into a career.
I immediately felt like an important part of the team. I was regularly praised for my work and insights and was given all the same opportunities as tenured colleagues in my team. I was always well looked after, and help was provided whenever I needed some. I felt like an equal.
Support and guidance was provided from the first instance I was given my project. Clear guidelines were set with regular reviews to ensure I was on the right track and setup for success. All supervisors and management were excellent in providing positive encouragement and advice whenever possible.
I was always given just the right amount of work, as much as I could handle without being overworked or free for prolonged periods of time. The workload was manageable without the need for extended hours.
I was given the same responsibility as a regular employee would have. I was given work to do independently without any micromanaging or restrictions. It was more productive to be left to work on my own and ask for help when necessary. My work was also impactful on the company and not just made up for the sake of my placement.
The skills obtained have been invaluable. Having gained experience in this role I have developed the necessary skills to thrive in such an environment. Exposure to the type of work that goes on showed me new ways to think and solve problems. Applying myself and adapting to challenges and situation in the corporate environment has made me a better critical thinker and will assist me wherever I go.
The Company
The atmosphere was one of the best parts of the experience. The freedom to work and the supportive culture aided productivity exceptionally well. Being given the chance to reach out and talk with any in the organization regardless of position on role was excellent. Everyone is always open and understanding.
It was really well organized with many activities to accompany the working aspect. The program was run seamlessly so that work was given, support was given, there were fun activities for team building and leisure. Overall, the experience was the perfect balance of challenging and enjoyable.
The company invested a lot of time and effort in ensuring that I was given the right amount of training and guidance to develop and succeed. I was given several opportunities to apply and enhance my existing skills as well as learn many new things.

National Travel
I would definitely say future employment prospects are very appealing. The combination of the type of work, the culture and atmosphere and the other employees, makes the future within the organization seem very bright and exciting. The number of opportunities and investment in personal development makes a career with the company very desirable.
The Culture
All the other placement colleagues were very friendly and sociable. Everyone would regularly get together and socialize and over the course of the placement strong bonds were made.
Considering the canteen was subsidized and there are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby, the cost was not too expensive, however, being in central London, the cost of living was still fairly high.
Being in the heart of London there is a very good Nightlife with lots to do and many places to see.
There is always something to do and on many occasions the organization would put on events for interns to attend, making the overall experience very social.
