    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • A great rotational programme in the regional offices that ensured I got a great overview of the line of service.

  • Colleagues involved me in many different projects, in which my role was interesting and challenging.

  • Frequent mentor meetings undertaken and realistic goals set.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • As with all internships, I suspect, the work that a firm can give you is limited. Having said that, colleagues were often looking for work to get me involved with. A group project had been constructed in order to keep us busy during quieter times.

  • I was exposed to many clients throughout my internship and given real responsibility in face to face meetings.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My degree does not link that closely with my internship. I did develop good communication and research skills though.

  • Very friendly and encouraged many questions. All took time to explain any queries.

  • Training, mentoring and conclusion of internship were all very well organised.

  • Training involved a three day placement near London - all expenses paid for. Training throughout the internship was undertaken too.

  • We organised a few social events over the period and were invited to company events too.
