    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I found the summer internship very useful and enjoyed it. The 3 months went very quickly and I gained valuable corporate awareness.

    • I quickly became very close friends with my colleagues as we were all similar in age.

    • Due to the busy nature of the business it was often difficult to receive one on one training

    • The business is busy by nature

    • There was a good level of autonomy during the placement. I was given an individual project to work on along side my day to day role

    • The placement did not directly link to my degree in Law, but I gained valuable sales and customer service skills.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes, being at the same University stage meant there was lots in common with the other trainees.

    • Travelling 40 minutes to work made fuel expensive
