    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Loved the internship, had a lot of fun. At times it was challenging, but I made it through. What I liked about was the fact that they taught us everything from the ground up, from the smallest details to the most advanced concepts. Overall, it was a very steep learning curve and I enjoyed it a lot

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The seniors were always willing to help me with anything I wasn't unsure about and we always had a very friendly environment in the office. No one got into an argument with anyone and overall a very nice team to work in

  • We were assigned a buddy who worked with us. My buddy showed me a lot of useful things and helped me overcome any difficulties I had. He also used to be an intern as well so he told me what he wished he knew before

  • Very busy, but nothing impossible

  • At first, very little but as time went on much more and more

  • My skills in terms of finance greatly improved and hope to bring them into good use as I have one more year left at uni

  • Very friendly

  • Very organized, love the HR

  • We had 1 week of training and networking sessions every week. Also we had one-time training sessions for particular programs we used

  • I would love to be able to work here

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • All very friendly people

  • cca £250 for a week's rent, on food around £20 daily

  • Didn't go to nightclubs, mostly went out for a beer or two at a bar or to see a museum
