  • My manager and supervisor were usually extremely busy and hence I was really reluctant in asking for guidance. However, they always made a point that I should not be afraid to ask for help. Additionally, no training was given, hence it took a while until I got a hold of their software infrastructure.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Aside from the individual role organisation whom managers had to organise, the overall internship was extremely well thought out, very innovative and fun.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • In terms of the individual role I did not receive any personal training. But, aside from that work, we also had to dedicate 20% of our time for a team project, which ended in a dragons den presentation. For that, the firm invested in us by hiring 2 effective professional public speakers. Both were extremely useful and insightful, full of energy and put effort into getting to know us as individuals.
