  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Excellent 10 weeks with large exposure to all parts of the business gaining a great understanding of how everything works.

  • Nomura has a great atmosphere on the trading floor and a flat structure, even as an intern I felt valued.

  • Excellent HR support, helping with any issues I had.

  • Very busy but this was expected.

  • Good considering the difficulty of enabling interns to contribute in a bank.

  • I feel I learnt more in 10 weeks than my first 2 years at university...

  • Very good team relationships.

  • Good, however the selection process for the rotations could have been better.

  • We had training from week 1, and most members of staff had the time to help you.

  • Very good group of interns and very diverse.

  • Very expensive being in central London.
