  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • This is dependent on your role and where you are placed but considering the internship is over the summer there is a very good amount of work to get involved with. You are also very encouraged to get yourself involved and take ownership for your daily activities.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Your are responsible for whatever is put on your plate. That gives you a sense of ownership and responsibility. Your are also responsible to get out there and network with colleagues that can give you advice and give you another perspective of the business

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I do a degree subject that is not related to Insurance in the direct sense. However i see how the skill set is related to BA type courses and specifically Int. Relations and Politics. Having studied languages I was also pleasantly surprised to see how much one can use those skills in this industry.
