  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • My fellow intern project partner and I worked as a group independently throughout the whole process. Our manager gave us guidance and advice, but she put in us complete trust to complete the tasks on our own. In the end we successfully put everything together and delivered the written reports and presentation.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I learned a lot from the internship. First of all my communication skills and how to fit in the international working environment as an overseas colleague. It grew my confidence in collaborating with people and letting my personality shine through. Also, the internship helped me develop my understanding of finance. I learned a lot about the connections of different business areas and got a deep insight into how I may apply my skill set to the wide industry.
