Sales and Trading Intern.

Very interesting and very informative. Employees spend a lot of time teaching you.

The nature of Trading means you can't add actual value. However, everyone tries to include you in the team

Varied support from different teams and managers. However, overall people are very keen to help and advise you on what to do.

Busy shadowing, completing projects and tasks.

Nature of trading means you are not qualified to take on actual responsibility. However, when possible, I was given responsibility.

Learnt lots of skills - both professional and soft skills like networking etc.

Team spirit and friendly.

Lots of speaker series, events and support offered on the internship. It was also structured around rotations so you could experience different aspects of the bank.

One week of training and lots of time spent explaining and training you on the trading floor itself.

Lots of effort and resources on the internship and in the job itself poured into socializing events and building relations amongst colleagues.

London was expensive but salary compensated for that.

London is very fun city to intern in.
