The Role
Overall was an enjoyable year working for a large multinatiional company such as Intel. Good mentorship from supervisors who give honest and constructive feedback to help improve your development.
i felt valued by the people i worked with directly as i was given real world business problems to solve and work on but i felt that sometimes team members that were not directly invloved in my work sometimes through not being interested in what i was doing didn't value my work but overall was a positive experience
I was given good direction baout what to improve wasn't hand held which gave good oppertunity to develop
i Would say sometimes i could have been busier but this was the nature of the work i was undertaking
I was given a fair amount of responsibilty in my daily job as i was given real business accounts to look after
I would say all the skills i learned and developed will be useful in final year studies and also to take on to gradute level jobs and any other professional jobs that i would go n and do
The Company
Many of my team would work US hours and work from home but when they were in the office it was a good atmphosphere, lots of other interns so good young atohosphere in the canteen and Ping pong table in games room
Was difficult int he start as my supervisor was on holiday when i started but when she returned iti was given my project
A good amount but no overly the focus
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
I will be applying to graduate roles as it is a good place to work with lots of benifits
The Culture
Big inten population so always young people around and plenty of socials
Swindon is not the nicest place but was very cheap to live
it's swindon so it ok if your after a cheesy cheap night
there was plenty of voulenteering oppertunities but other than that not much
