    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, the other interns were very friendly. It was easy to get in touch with them. There was also good team spirit.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I have to say that working for BMW in Farnborough was great, but the town Farnborough itself is just horrible. There aren't any opportunities to spend quality time in the city as it is really not attractive. Luckily, London is just half an our away by train which compensates it a bit but still the cost of living is quite high in comparison to quality.

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • There is nothing to do in Farnborough.

    1/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • I don't know I haven't tried to get involved in activities outside of work. However, I think there aren't so many.
