    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I overall was fine with it. It wasn't the best experience that I had, but not the worst either. I did this for a month now, so my assessment could be wrong. I think the main issue is communication through the company and a management issue in higher positions .

    3/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I was working in a low level tier, so I was easily replaceable for my position, so obviously I was and they demanded that I worked hard I don't think that in a big company likes this, feeling like family is a priority or even common and I don't think I could further develop those relations.

    2/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I personally feel that I didn't received enough information from the job description in general and during my first period I wasn't taught much and this was an issue since I didn't really had experience in this sector. I would advice a rather longer training and implement more information online.

    2/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I think I developed a lot of skill, especially those soft skills that are transferrable to other job. One key skill was independence, since I had to figure out things on my own and do research to comply and execute relevant task. Others are petiency , being able to be malleable and so on.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • I didn't feel the insight was planned in the best manner, I think they could have improved this by maybe having the possibility to see what other people are doing here and see how I impact the development of this company. I felt that it lack some key information .

    1/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The general atmosphere was Ok for me. I am more the type of person that like to do stuff quickly and since I work on my own, I don't get as easily distracted, I wish however there were some possibility into vary the structure of the nature of the thing.

    3/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I personally didn't feel they invested much on me, or anybody that is new, since as stated previously we could bee easily replaced, I think also the people that were presented to us, don't really know about the role themselves and that could explain few things . . . .

    2/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • I think it was a pretty accurate presentative of what to expect full time working there after you work there for 2 weeks or so, since the first week is really weird and unplanned. You unfortunately don't know nothing about what are you going to do until the next day.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • I don't really think there is an actual company culture, I think each department has its own things going on and its own way of co-ordinate and execute things. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

    3/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • It get an accurate insight of the role, what to expect on the work, the relation with clients, shift pattern, pay and so on, pretty reasonable things. However what I am doing right now is temporary and if I move to a permanent position, things obviously are going to change.

    5/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • I was paid what I would consider a decent amount of money, it's not a lot but more than enough for rent, transportation, foods and so on. I obviously can't expected much, but if you are interested in other roles, have experience in this sector, then you may able to negotiate.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • I had some minor opportunities for networking and very low possibility of meeting other employees( that do not work within my sector). But if you are interested in those things, then is better if you invest those in your free time . . . . . . . . .

    2/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Pretty much no social event unless something outside the company, but even then obviously not everybody is willing to meet new people or may not enjoy the company, but I don't have an issue with those, since I don't really care about the social aspect in my life, right now.

    1/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Employees tend to go out in bar/pub or other of those places for met. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

    3/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Yeah, I would recommend this to other people, but I don't really feel is for anybody, especially somebody that deeply care about social aspect or don't enjoy doing repetitive task for part of the shift. However as said, the job pay decently and condition is quite good. . . .

    4/5
