    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I loved my internship and my team were so lovely. I found the work really interesting and enjoyable and I loved going out on site visits. My team were always so happy to help and they were all so welcoming. I really enjoyed all the departmental overviews and I thought they were so useful in getting an insight into the different teams within Savills. I also thought there were so many activities and socials lined up which was so great in letting the interns bond and meet new people.

They were all so happy to explain something if I didn't understand it and were so encouraging. My team were so welcoming and I really enjoyed my time I spent there.

  • Both my mentor and my whole team gave me a lot of support. they always explained the task I needed to do and if I didn't understand something then I never thought I was putting them out by asking them a question. They were all so friendly and keen to help so it made my experience really enjoyable.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a lot more responsibility then I thought I would have been given. I was able to help price a scheme which was very exciting. It was also nice to know that they trusted me enough to send a report which I had adjusted to a client without checking it. I really enjoyed the level of responsibility I was given and I loved the challenge
