  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I have enjoyed the placement a lot and gained some experience of working life.

    • I felt like I was valued and I was always thanked for the work I had done. All the people I am working with are very helpful and pleasant.

    • I got a lot of support throughout the placement and everyone around me supported me well.

    • The skills I developed will help me in the future as they increased my knowledge of various office programmes.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The placement was not very structured but that was good because I felt like I was actually part of the team I was working with rather than just a stranger on a placement.

    • The atmosphere was great throughout the placement and everybody was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend a placement at S & W

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • The role gave me an idea to what working life would be like as it was full time and I was given all different types of tasks and was just treated like I was part of the team. I also worked with a couple of different teams so I got an idea of what like would be like at the firm.

    • The placement made me feel like the company are good people to work for, who treat their staff well and make sure they are happy at work, they are also good at making everyone feel welcome throughout the company.

    • The content of the day made me consider a job at this company may be a good option in the future as the tasks I was given interested me and engaged me as they weren't repetitive and boring. I felt my time at the firm was very valuable. It was great

    • I would recommend this placement as it gives you a very detailed insight to working life and the other staff at the firm are very friendly and are always wiling to help so you never feel lost and unable to ask for help. I would fully recommend this placement to a friend.
