    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • My time at Enterprise Rent A Car had enjoyable moments, especially with the team that I worked alongside with. However, there were tough moments where the hours were tiring and there was a lot of driving.

    2/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My colleagues at Enterprise were lovely and did make me feel valued and happy.

    3/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was given guidance and support from my managers during my time at Enterprise, there was a lot of constructive criticism throughout the year.

    3/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • On a daily basis, it did vary. One day we would be super busy and the next day we would be dead. But there was always something to do.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a sufficient amount of responsibility during my time and Enterprise and given a vast number of tasks to be in charge of.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I definitely would say I developed customer service skills that helped with my confidence and showed me strengths that I wasn't aware of before.

    3/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The general atmosphere was okay. Generally people have ups and downs but there were days where the office was extremely positive and a fun place to be.

    3/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The overall work placement was very well structured and well organized. Everything was set up in the folder which you are given at the start and you are made fully aware of how the placement will go structurally.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Personal training was something that was lacking, in all honesty at Enterprise. A lot more focus needs to be on the individual and their development.

    2/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Financial Bonus

    1/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • For me personally, not appealing. However, there are a lot of opportunities for progression and future employment after the placement year.

    3/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There was a social scene amongst the colleagues but that was fully depended on yourself as an individual and how social you want to be.

    3/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • The area I worked in personally was not the cheapest. Therefore going out after work wasn't something we did.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • There was no real nightlife in the area in which I worked, to be perfectly honest.

    1/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were a few activities to get involved in outside of work, like volunteering and a few events as well.

    2/5
