  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed my time at Loreal, everyone was so friendly and i learnt a lot about the world of supply chain.

  • I felt that i was really valued by my team members i did not feel like an intern!

  • My manager was amazing throughout this he really helped me with everything i found difficult.

  • I was very busy some days but not so busy on others, it was night and day.

  • I was given a lot of responsibility i took over my own processes and manged to even implement change.

  • I learnt a lot that will go hand in hand with my degree such as dealing with people and managing tasks.

  • Very lively atmosphere it was full of energy and excitement.

  • very organised, everything was well planned etc. I always had guidance in all aspects of my job.

  • They invested a lot in my development always pushed me to go to training. And always encouraged self development.

  • its quite competitive but if you have the placement then it gives you a higher chance of getting the grad scheme.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Very good social, there was a committee that organised an planned lots of events.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Quite expensive, it is in London after all! There was some cheap socials though

  • it is London, there is a bar on every street corner very good nightlife.

  • There was sports teams and other events such as running half marathons, and away days etc.
