  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I have had a great time working at L'Oreal and it has given me a great insight into the Beauty Industry. As an intern you are a valued member of the team and are given a real role within the business. I could definitely see myself working here in the future.

  • I felt very valued by my colleagues, particularly my manager and other members of the team.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My manager was very supportive throughout my time at L'Oreal and we would have weekly meetings to check I was on track with my work and prioritise any new projects.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • It could vary day to day, however there wasnt a day where I sat there twiddling my thumbs and always had something to do

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As the time went on I was given more and more responsibility and felt trusted by my manager to take control which was a good feeling

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learnt a lot about prioritisation which will help a lot in Uni and general life.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was a fun and friendly environment which I really enjoyed being in

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • My role changed from the one I applied for and was offered the week before I joined which was frustrating but worked out for the best. While I was there it was great though.

  • There were lots of training opportunities which you could get involved in.

  • I would definitely work for L'Oreal again if the opportunity arose

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes it was a really fun little community of interns which made the time at L'Oreal really fun

  • I would say it was very reasonable for London
