I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Goldman Sachs, and have been able to appreciate the work that takes place in an investment bank. This opportunity has allowed me to see and get a feel of what it would be like to work in a place like this. The experience I have gained is invaluable.

I definitely felt valued and made to feel part of the team. The staff who were looking after me, always made sure I was okay. There was once I felt a little upset since I was having to do the same thing, and as a result was not getting to experience new things. But they made sure my concerns were dealt with smoothly.

I was given plenty of guidance and support throughout my placement. The staff ensured I was making the most out of time there, and this definitely allowed me to prosper and make th every bit of exposure I had count. These guys know how to run a placement really well.

The skills i have been able to develop have been extremely useful till this very date. Even the people who were responsible for me emphasised this point on the very first day of programme. In order to do well in this field, qualities such as teamwork, leadership and presentation are very important.

Apart from the one instance, where I felt there was a bit of repetition, the rest of structure was structured well. Even the one time when I had the issue, they were quick to rectify it and made sure it did not happen again. I was able to gain plenty of skills and experience.

The atmosphere around the workplace was very pleasant, it definitely makes you feel valued and part of the team. Everyone was so friendly and willing to help whenever you asked for help, even for the smallest of things. It definitely made me think that this is the kind of place I want to work at.

I was able to gain a lot of skills but also develop once I already possessed. Skills like teamwork and leadership, I was already working on them through my extracurricular activities such as karate and football. Here I was testing and enhancing them in a different environment so all was valuable for my development.

I was able to put together a clear picture of what it would be like to work in a well- renowned investment bank like Goldman Sachs. I knew i would be going into a workplace with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and most of all, i really enjoyed the type of work involved.

During my time at Goldman Sachs, I was able to spend plenty of time with the various professionals in the field. At all times, the thing the would stress to me is the importance of enjoying you work and do what you like. They also mentioned that the workers here are always expected to treat one another with respect.

Fortunately for me, I did not have to worry about any expenses as it was all covered by my school. Without the financial assurances they provided me, this experience would not have been possible. Even now, when I look back at all the wonderful experience I had at Goldman Sachs, its all thanks to my school.
