  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Core hours require effort put into communication, building relations with clients, and making sure the deliverable are reported upon. They amount to some part of the day and the rest hours are left up to the role to train, build, maintain systems, and shadow colleagues on their routines.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Real world business applications with active impact based on contributions - one is destined to work on practical applications within this role that assures their effort is taking into consideration for a team's performance. The amount of responsibility is dependent on the role itself and candidate's performance, so if you're willing to take on more tasks in general there will always be a challenge awaiting your effort.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Every theoretical concept was put to test over the course of my placement and I'd say I learnt in a much fast paced manner than in the past years of university. This role certainly does change your attitude towards problem solving and gives you the confidence + the skillset to learn and take on new challenges.
