About You
Unlike other spring weeks, this programme is two weeks long. So clearly, Goldman Sachs views the spring interns as a serious recruitment pipeline. Furthermore, senior speakers (incl. partners) took time out of their busy schedules to come and speak to us.
Any instructions we received were always presented in a very clear manner. The buddy system made us feel welcome, helped with settling in and getting to know the firm culture.
The financial valuation and accounting training will be helpful for my future studies.
The Company
The programme was very well structured. The sessions were well-balanced and running on time for the most part. During the 2 weeks, we got a comprehensive overview of our division.
Very friendly atmosphere. Employees were always willing to help and answer any questions we had.
We had to complete multiple case studies which were based on real-life deals.
The first day and most of the firmwide sessions were focused on the company culture.
There were speakers from all parts of the division.
Everything Else
We had scheduled networking sessions as well as enough free time to meet GS employees. Networking was actively encouraged.
